AZtech Supreme Jigging Series – Warranty & Service Terms

AZtech Supreme Jigging rods are crafted to the highest standards, using premium materials and expert craftsmanship. We are confident in the durability of our products and back them with one of the most comprehensive warranty and service programs in the fishing industry. The following terms define the scope of coverage, exclusions, and additional services available to our customers.

1. Lifetime Defect Coverage

AZtech guarantees that Supreme Jigging rods are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase, which represents the defined 'lifetime of the rod.' This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required.

If the rod fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship within this period, AZtech will, at its discretion, repair or replace the rod at no cost to the customer (excluding shipping to AZtech).

2. No-Question Replacement Program

During the first year from the date of purchase, the original owner is eligible for a one-time replacement/repair of the rod, regardless of the cause of breakage (including accidents and misuse). A fixed handling fee of €220 applies. This program is limited to one claim per rod and applies only to the original owner.

3. Post-Sales Repair Service

For the full ten (10) year lifetime of the rod, AZtech offers repair options for accidental or misuse-related damage in cases where the blank remains structurally intact. Examples include:
• Replacement of broken or damaged guide rings.
• Replacement of a damaged or missing tip-top.
• Repair of handle damage (EVA or cork).
• Repair or replacement of reel seats.

The customer pays for the cost of replacement parts, labor, and inbound shipping. This service allows anglers to repair their rods without invoking the No-Question Replacement option when the blank is intact.

4. Definitions

To avoid misunderstandings, the following definitions apply:

• Defect in Materials or Workmanship: A failure caused by flaws in raw materials or the manufacturing/assembly process, such as blank cracking under normal casting loads, guide separation due to poor bonding, or reel seat detachment caused by faulty installation.

• Misuse: Any use of the rod outside of its intended purpose or specifications, including, but not limited to:
  - Using lures or weights outside the stated casting range.
  - Using the rod in saltwater without proper rinsing and maintenance.
  - Storing rods in damp or extreme temperature conditions.
  - Using the rod as a lever, tool, or in ways unrelated to fishing.
  - Transporting rods without protective covers.
  - Excessive force applied to free snagged lures.
  - High-sticking the rod while landing a fish.

• Accidental Damage: Non-defect related damage, such as:
  - Breaking the blank by stepping on it.
  - Crushing or breaking the rod in a car door, window, or storage hatch.
  - Dropping heavy objects on the rod.
  - Impact damage from rough handling or transport.

• Normal Wear and Tear: Expected cosmetic changes or degradation over time, including:
  - Discoloration or compression of cork or EVA grips.
  - Minor scratches or scuffs on blank finish.
  - Guide ring wear from normal line friction.
  - Epoxy yellowing.

5. Claim Procedure

To file a claim under this warranty or service program, the customer must:
• Return the rod to AZtech, including all broken sections (claims may be denied if essential parts are missing).
• Provide proof of purchase showing the original owner and purchase date.
• Cover the cost of shipping the rod to AZtech.

Upon inspection, AZtech will determine whether the failure is covered under Lifetime Defect Coverage, the No-Question Replacement Program, or the Post-Sales Repair Service. Repairs or replacements will be processed accordingly. Return shipping to the customer is covered for valid warranty claims.

6. Limitations

• Warranty is valid for the original owner only and is non-transferable.
• AZtech reserves the right to replace discontinued models with the closest available equivalent.
• Liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the rod. AZtech shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost catches, travel expenses, or downtime.
